Kate Middleton Inspired Half Up-Do

Kate Middleton is a Style icon and she is known for her half up-dos.This id one of her famous half up-do.

Steps to get this hair style.

1. Take a small amount of hair in your sideways and from the center close to your forehead.
2. With a rest of your hair make a normal half updo and spray your hairspray to keep that in one place.
3. Take hair from sides and pin that with butterfly clips and place the rest of your hair from the center in between those butterfly clips.
4. Slowly remove the hair band from your ponytail.

Stylish half up-do is ready.

Braided Ponytail.

This is just a simple hairstyle but it will make your hairstyle stands out  from the boring everyday ponytail and it won't take much time also.

Braided Ponytail

I just made 5 small braids starting from top of my head and at equal distance and secured them with wool bands then took all my hair and made a ponytail and removed the wool bands I used to secure the braids.

You can do this just within 5 minutes.Dare to make some difference in your daily normal hairstyles.

The Hunger Games Katniss Inspired Braid

Today I did Hunger Games Katniss Braid to style my hair.
It is a curved dutch braid and it is super duper easy :)

Steps.

Take a small section of your hair from the left side at the top of your head.


Spit that into 3 equal sections.


Start doing dutch braid (You should pull the pieces of hair under the braid instead of over the braid like you would do in french braid)


As you move on from the left side of top of your head to right side of bottom of your head,Grab small sections of hair and add that to your right strand and to left strand in turns.


After braiding up to bottom of your head,grab all your hair and continue braiding a dutch braid.


Once you're done,secure your braid with a band.


If your hair is thin,Just pull your strands a little bit that will give you a perfect look.

Hairagami Bun

As I already mentioned in my previous post that I am trying new styles using Hairagami accessory.This bun is one of the outcome of that.Here I used two Hairgami Tools.I sectioned my hair into two layers.Bottom and top.Then I made a bun using Hairagami in the bottom layer then I made another bun from the top layer just top of the bottom layer bun.Then I pulled out my bottom bun a bit in a way that shows some layer difference. Hairagami Bun is ready.

Hairagami Styles

I recently found this hair accessory called  Hairagami Bun Tail.This is made of two springy metal covered with a soft cloth.You can fold,wrap and snap it and you can create infinite number of hairstyles using this.Find more information about this here.














 Style 01.Half Up Half Down.

Take top layer of hair and spread that between Hairagami and roll it up then bend the ends.

If you want you can curl your bottom layer which will give a wavy look (:






















 Style 02.Bun Pony Tail.

Spread the top layer between Hairagami and roll it up then bend it in a way it makes a round shape.

Place the bottom layer of hair inside bun.

This will give you a chic look.

You can make infinite number of buns,half up dos and pony tails.Look for more styles with Hairagami in coming weeks.

Valentine's Day Series:Heart Shaped Braided Ponytail

This is my next post in the valentine's day series.This hair style is PERFECT for this month since valentine's day is just around the corner.You can style this for normal days also as it's super easy and cool.

Heart Shaped Braided Ponytail

To create this hair style you'll need.
                         Few Bobby Pins.
                         Elastic Bands(Preferably your hair color)
                         Comb


Method.

    Comb your hair to make it tangle free.
    Separate a section from bottom half of your hair and secure the rest by making a high bun.Then it won't disturb your braiding.
    Divide the bottom hair into two equal sections and do a regular braid on each side of your head all the way down.Make sure you start braiding from the center.
    Secure your braids with elastic bands.

    Pin your braids using bobby pins in a way it forms a heart shape as shown in the below image(Bobby pins are shown by blue lines)

Remove the high bun and elastic bands you used to secure your braids and make a ponytail.

Here is the final look of this hair style.

You could embellish the style by weaving one or two red ribbon or any other matching ribbon for your outfit through the braids.It will give a much defined look.
