DIY : CHAIN RIBBON BRACELET

 I bought this Parrot Necklace on eBay shown in the first picture and I was not happy with the quality of some pendants.So I removed all the pendants and started to use them individually.I had this chain with me and I am not a fan of wearing this size chains So I decided to convert that chain into something else and Here it is.
CHAIN RIBBON BRACELET.

I used a pair of scissors to open the chain and got two wrist size chains.Saved the Clasp for using later.

 

 I didn't have any black ribbon.So I used black Nylon Thread instead. First open up one chain using scissors and connect two pieces of chain and close it.Then put a knot on one side.

 Then insert thread through the other side first chain and take that through the second chain of the first piece of chain.In this way you would get a slant look.Continue doing this until you reach the end.

 When you reach the end open one chain and connect both pieces using it then close it using scissors.Make a knot and secure the ribbon. Connect the clasp and your bracelet is ready.

This is the final look of my bracelet and I feel it is a very good causal piece to wear with any outfit.

An Emergency Kit-Every Girl Should Carry

Every girl should carry this kit in case anything goes wrong in her dress.A situation like that would arise at any time and you should not feel embarrassed in front of people.

Take your sewing kit.Select 3 or 5 necessary color threads like black,white,brown,pink etc.Take a small card board and wrap the threads separately around the card.

Take a black button and a white one.A safety pin.A hook and a needle.Put that in a zip lock bag.Keep that in your wallet.

Now you are ready to rock any situation.

Mother's Day Gift Wrapping Ideas

Hopefully everyone is ready with  gifts for their moms.Don't you have an idea how to pack them? Here are some gift wrapping ideas for you guys.


Polka dots are favourite of anyone.It makes the gift looks classy.

 

Fold the one side of the wrapping sheet and make that like a little fan.

 

 If you want to wrap a jar,Place that at the center of the wrapping sheet.Then make small pleads and gather all sides and make a knot.

 Make a handle with two bows in each side.That would look something different.

Ribbons and Buttons can always make a gift stands out in its outlook.

DIY:The French Tip Shoe.

Another hit trend of this season is French Tip Shoe.Yes! It's everywhere.I saw one video by Chriselle on Youtube how to make you own french tip shoes and I wanted to give it a try.I've been using this shoes for nearly 6 months and I'm tired of this look.I decided to convert this into a french tip pair.Here we go.

DIY: Spring Flower Necklace

I made a gorgeous flower necklace to style my outfits for this spring season.

I had some ribbon flowers and my crafty mind inside wanted to do something with that.The color of these flowers is more towards peacock blue.Since pastel colors are big hit trend of this spring,I wanted to add something in pastel blue also.I took out some pearls and ribbon from my collection in pastel blue and I went in action :p

First I stitched 5 flowers together in below shape.

 

Then I pasted that with ribbon and made two tassels using pearls and same flowers.Spring Flower Necklace is ready to rock :)

DIY:Jewellery Holder

I have a wooden cup and saucer holder which I don't like to use for its purpose.I don't want to take the risk of dropping them and breaking while trying to hang them or take them.so I keep my cup and saucer set in my pantry cupboard.

  

 

I wanted to use that for some other purpose.I remembered the saying "If you see it,You will wear it". Eureka! I normally keep my accessories in a drawer and I always have the trouble of finding the pairs and matching colors for my dress.

 

I decided to convert this as a jewellery holder.I selected some accessories which I would wear everyday.I hung them in that wooden holder.Here is the final outcome.

Second Life for My Top.

I have been using this top for more than one year.I don't want to throw this away so soon because of the quality of this material.So I decided to embellish the look with some pearls and studs.














Here is the outcome.Yeah!!!












So it is going to rock my closet again.

DIY: Crochet Necklace.

I made this crochet necklace today.It is super easy.I attached 6 crochet rounds together using same color thread then used a silver chain to connect both the ends.

You can wear this as a short necklace with your turtleneck tees (just make a knot in your chain) or as a long one with any dress.

Here you can see how i styled this as a short necklace and as a long necklace.It really made a big difference in my plain turtleneck t-shirt.

Valentine's Day Series: DIY: Alphabets of Our Love

The most valuable thing you can give someone is your time.When you spend your time and make something for them,they will be happier than getting a most expensive gift. This is one idea to make something for your valentine on your own and This is so precious and unique.

  

 

I named this as Alphabets of Our Love.It is a notebook filled  with your favorite memories of your relationship for each letter.You can include places you went together,movies you watched,events you participated.Decorate this with photos,drawings anything you have.

 I bought one alphabet wrapping paper and cut each letter then pasted on the front page.And I wrote all the memories related with that letter in the next page.I pasted some images to make it more colorful.

 It will be a good gift to bring back your old memories.This Notebook will remain with you forever and you will be able to cherish the memories of good old days whenever you want.
