The most valuable thing you can give someone is your time. When you spend your time and make something for them, they will be happier than getting a most expensive gift. This is one idea to make something for your valentine on your own and This is so precious and unique.

I named this as Alphabets of Our Love.It is a notebook filled  with your favorite memories of your relationship for each letter. You can include places you went together, movies you watched, events you participated.Decorate this with photos, drawings anything you have.

I bought one alphabet wrapping paper and cut each letter then pasted on the front page. And I wrote all the memories related with that letter in the next page.I pasted some images to make it more colorful.

It will be a good gift to bring back your old memories. This Notebook will remain with you forever and you will be able to cherish the memories of good old days whenever you want.

Valentine's Day Series:Heart Shaped Braided Ponytail

This is my next post in the valentine's day series. This hair style is PERFECT for this month since valentine's day is just around the corner. You can style this for normal days also as it's super easy and cool.

Heart Shaped Braided Ponytail

To create this hair style you'll need.
                         Few Bobby Pins.
                         Elastic Bands(Preferably your hair color)
                         Comb

Method.

Comb your hair to make it tangle free.
Separate a section from bottom half of your hair and secure the rest by making a high bun. Then it won't disturb your braiding.
Divide the bottom hair into two equal sections and do a regular braid on each side of your head all the way down.Make sure you start braiding from the center.
Secure your braids with elastic bands.

Pin your braids using bobby pins in a way it forms a heart shape as shown in the below image(Bobby pins are shown by blue lines)

Remove the high bun and elastic bands you used to secure your braids and make a ponytail.

Here is the final look of this hair style.

You could embellish the style by weaving one or two red ribbon or any other matching ribbon for your outfit through the braids. It will give a much defined look.

Happy Hairstyling!

Valentine's Day Series:DIY: Tri Shutter Card.

This month is all about LOVE.So I'm going to post some ideas till February 14th to make gifts, cards for your valentine..It is my first post of this Valentine Series.

This is a Tri Shutter card with clear graphical demonstration.so you can make something different for this valentine's day without messing up when you fold the different sections.

This is the card I made.I didn't use any expensive things still it looks good.

Things I Used.
  Embossed card
  Stiff plain paper
  Paper glue
  Scissors
  Pencil
  Ribbon Roses
  Patterned Polythene Sheet/Paper
Embroidered cloth.(You can use patterned paper also)

I used normal A4 size Embossed card (12"X8" nearly). Mark  points at 2",4",8" & 10" as given below.Fold up and down. Then cut 2 lines horizontally between 2" and 10" at 1.5" and 5.5".

This is how it should look after cutting and folding according to the above image.

After folding I decorated this using some heart shaped cloth,Roses,Stiff paper,Gold patterned polythene sheet(which I cut from a shopping bag) .And here is the final look of the card I made.
Tri Shutter Card

I cut those small hearts from one of my old cloth. You can use patterned paper also.and the bottom part also from that cloth. And I used a picture card by Hallmark in the center which says "Thankfulness grows when thoughtfulness shows". This is a simple way to show how much you care about your valentine.I used a pink stiff paper to make those oval and square shapes. You can use anything you want.
